Traditional Tamales 😍

   

   Tamales are made with seasoned chicken or pork, all wrapped in a special homemade dough called masa and is then steamed in plantain or banana leaves. These Tamales on the above picture are served at the Women's group in San Antonio Cayo. It was served with a vegetable salad drizzled in a homemade peanut sauce with chips.
